[Bellamy's emotional state is going through a lot of stages today—he keeps flop flopping back and forth, calming himself down and then working himself up all over again. Finally, he breaks his own advice and heads out alone, planting himself on the beach, his body language tense. There's nothing he can do about any of this right now, and that knowledge is always enough to drive him nuts.]

he runs into Bellamy when he's on the way back from the beach, and it doesn't take a genius for him to figure out that Bellamy is tense, he's about to go stir-crazy, and--

[Bellamy sounds impatient, almost annoyed. He knows it was impulsive, and he knows there was no point in it. The chiefs were clearly just trying to get under their skin, and he fell for it. That doesn't mean he's not going to be a bit of a jerk about it.]
