[Bellamy, frustratingly, disappears for a bit after the trial results are announced. Eventually, though, he goes to hunt down Lief.]

[That's first as he leads Lief down the beach, away from anyone who might overhear.]

[Bellamy shakes his head. Once they're far enough away, he reaches for Lief's arm.]

Look, I still can't tell you much. I know who the Wickie is, and I know who the Sirens are. I'm trying to get them to work together. With Prussia.

[He blinks, though he doesn't look too surprised. His tone is careful.]

... I see.

[jettisons]

You said you trusted me. Do you?

[reidentify]

[He lets out a breath.]

Yes.

[He's tired of people here asking for his trust and then refusing to tell him anything—however well he might understand why—but his answer doesn't change.]

It wasn't my choice. The Wickie already doesn't feel safe about this. I'm sorry.
